Implementation

A discovery period first, because a timeline published before discovery is a guess with dates on it.

Discovery comes first. The schedule follows from what it finds.

We have extensive experience managing large uniform programs, safety programs and branded swag stores, and understand the importance of balancing speed, quality and accuracy during implementation. Not every product in the Pilot program will follow the same production path — depending on item, quantity, pricing objectives and service expectations, products may be manufactured overseas, domestically, or through a hybrid of both.

The timeline we struck

Our first draft put dates against overseas production, ocean transit and customs before anyone had agreed what the products were. We removed it. The phase durations below are what we commit to for the work we control.

  1. Program discovery

    Phase one · 1–2 weeks

Contract execution, stakeholder meetings, data collection and analysis, requirements validation, and a historical sales review with forecasting assessment.

  2. Program development

    Phase two · 4 weeks

Product development and approvals, technology configuration and integrations, inventory planning and forecasting, communication and change management planning, vendor alignment and production scheduling.

  3. Testing

    Phase three · 1–2 weeks

Wear testing, system testing, pilot execution and validation, and verification of the inventory and fulfillment processes.

  4. Launch

    Phase four · Go live

User training and education, go-live support, and enhanced monitoring through the initial rollout period.

  5. Optimization

    Phase five · Ongoing

Performance reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, strategic planning sessions, and ongoing inventory and program assessments.

Who runs it

The implementation team is led by Jed Dance, who oversees the transition and works directly with both our internal teams and our vendor partners to remove roadblocks and hold accountability through the project lifecycle.
